Tom joined V&R in 2012 as our chief quant after working for world leading financial institutions. He holds a PhD in mathematics and is a renowned expert in the valuation of highly complex financial instruments. Tom is supervising our quant team and is responsible for our internally developed quantitative library and infrastructure.

John joined V&R in 2010 and has a master's degree in quantitative finance. John is working as a senior quant and is responsible for the development of our financial library and infrastructure. He is a renowned expert in the valuation of highly complex financial instruments.

Vera joined V&R in 2011 after completing her diploma in industrial engineering. Vera holds a CQF and is working as a senior quant responsible for the development of V&R’s own valuation library, processes, and interfaces. She is an expert in the valuation of highly complex financial instruments.

Sebastian joined V&R in 2013 after completing his diploma in mathematics. He holds a CQF and is working as a senior quant responsible for the development of V&R’s own valuation library, processes, and interfaces. He is an expert in the valuation of highly complex financial instruments.

Oliver joined V&R in 2022. He holds a master's degree in business informatics. Before joining V&R, Oliver was working as a software developer, data scientist and portfolio manager for renowned firms. Oliver is working as a senior quant and is mainly responsible for the development of the V&R valuation library, database, processes, interfaces and infrastructure.

Daniel joined V&R in 2023 after working for some of the most renowned asset managers in Europe. Daniel holds a master's in mathematics and is an expert in the valuation of highly complex financial instruments. As part of our quant team, Daniel is responsible for the development of our financial library and IT landscape.

Stefan joined V&R in 2010 after completing an MA in economics and politics. Stefan holds a CQF and is working as a senior financial engineer and as a project manager. As a financial engineer, he is responsible for the valuation of multidimensional financial instruments from all asset classes, for first-line customer support and in-depth queries. As a project manager, Stefan is responsible for onboarding new customers and coordinating the process within V&R.

Christian joined V&R in 2010 as a senior financial engineer. After graduating from Bielefeld University with a diploma in business, he worked for international investment banks in the structured products department. He is also a certified financial risk manager (FRM) and certified European financial analyst (CEFA).

Thanh-Mai joined V&R in 2016 after completing her master's degree in economics. She is a senior financial engineer and is responsible for the valuation of highly complex financial instruments from all asset classes and for first-line customer support and in-depth queries.

Fabian recently joined Value & Risk as Head of Valuation Services Luxembourg. He is one of the most senior valuation professionals in Luxembourg with over 25 years of industry experience and extensive knowledge of all investment classes and regulatory reporting for Luxembourg funds. Prior to joining V&R, Fabian spent 10 years as a Director at Deloitte Luxembourg with a focus on valuation and risk. Fabian holds Masters degrees in Civil Engineering, Finance and Business Administration and a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).

Quentin joined V&R in 2024. Previously, he spent two years with an AIFM in Luxembourg and five years as a Senior Consultant in the Valuation Advisory division of Delloite. Quentin holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a dual focus on applied mathematics and quantitative finance and has built up valuation expertise across a wide range of asset classes. Quentin is a Senior Financial Engineer and is an expert in the valuation of highly complex financial assets with a focus on structured products, private debt and equity.

Marina joined V&R in 2007 working as a financial engineer. Since 2009, she has been head of operations, overseeing the operational side of the daily valuation processes, as well as customer support. Since 2021, Marina has been head of the financial analysis department. She holds a diploma in financial mathematics and is experienced in both the quantitative field and financial engineering.

Björn joined V&R in 2018 and is the deputy head of the financial analysis group, he is also responsible for the organization of the team. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and has a master's degree in money and finance. Björn is an expert in the valuation of structured and highly complex financial investments and specializes, in particular, in the valuation of debt, equity, infrastructure, and alternative investments.

Monja joined V&R in 2022. Prior to this she was working as an analyst for one of the Big-Four auditing firms and for a leading investment fund company. Monja has a master's degree in banking and finance and is an expert in the valuation of highly complex financial investments, especially private debt, real estate and infrastructure.

Yun joined V&R in 2013 and works as a senior financial analyst. He is a CFA charterholder and has a PhD in finance. In addition, he has been awarded the CFA Institute certificate in ESG investing. Yun is an expert in the valuation of highly complex and structured financial investments, especially debt, equity, real estate and infrastructure.

Sebastian joined V&R in 2024. Prior to this he was working as Senior Consultant for one of the Big-Four- and Next-Ten auditing firms within the Valuation Advisory divisions . He is a Certified Financial Modeler (CFM) and has a master´s degree in business economics. Sebastian is an expert in the valuation of highly complex financial investments, especially equity and debt.

Maya joined V&R in 2014 after achieving a master's degree in business administration with a specialty in finance and accounting. Maya is working as a senior financial analyst and specializes in the in-depth valuation of highly structured financial investments, mainly equity, private debt, real estate and infrastructure.

Olga joined V&R in 2015 after completing her master's degree in money and finance. She is working as a senior financial analyst and specializes in the in-depth valuation of highly structured financial investments, mainly private equity, private debt and infrastructure.

Reiner joined V&R in 2008 after completing a diploma in business administration. Reiner is working in our analyst team and is also our first line IT infrastructure support. Reiner has more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector.

Ilva recently joined V&R Luxembourg as Investment Valuation Director. She has over 12 years of alternative investment experience in valuation, risk management as well as portfolio management. Previously, Ilva worked for leading third party AIFMs in Luxembourg. Ilva has extensive knowledge of the investment decision process and the development of risk and valuation models for AIFs (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt and Infrastructure). Ilva holds an M.SC. in Banking and Finance and a black belt in Kickboxing.

Robert recently joined Value & Risk in Luxembourg as Director Business Development. He has worked in the Finance industry in Luxembourg for 30 years, and in Funds for the last 20. His experience spans UCITS and AIF and has held roles in IT, Operations, Business Development and Director of an AIFM.

Stefan joined V&R in 2024 as Director BD. He has over 25 years of professional experience in the financial and capital markets. Before joining V&R, Stefan worked as a manager at leading KVGs/ ManCos. As a sales/product specialist, buy-side analyst and portfolio manager, the trained banker and graduate in BA previously worked for many years at top tier asset management companies.

Christina joined Value & Risk in 2023. She has 25 years' experience in financial services sales and has extensive knowledge of sales / pre-sales and customer service. In her current role she is responsible for client communications and project management.

Martina joined V&R in 1996 and is responsible for office management and administration.

Heidrun joined V&R in 2000 and is responsible for office management and administration.
